I first met Catherine Lalonde, the owner, beauty therapist and event planner of Luxe Beauty Lounge & Spa, in early 2010 when she was recruiting freelance makeup and hair artists to join her team of beauty experts. The spa was set to launch in a few days with bookings flooding in from the opening hour onwards. Impressed with my portfolio and passion for makeup, Catherine called me in for an interview.
