Langara College 40th Birthday Celebration
It was an absolute pleasure to have been called to perform my talents at the Langara 40th Birthday Celebration in October 2010. I was called by Tomo Tanaka who was the second photographer working on a creative photo shoot with myself and Amber Light Photo, mentioned in my previous blog posting.
Amber Light Photography
I had previously worked with Karen, the talent behind the lens of Amber Light Photography, back in the summer of 2010, on a creative photoshoot which is yet to be released. Since that shoot, we have been able to connect for a second shoot. This time for a client looking to indulge in a boudoir session.
Emily & Donovan’s Wedding
Emily and Donovan have been together for a long time. Having two children and two jobs meant their lives were jam packed! The time to finally put those rings on their fingers was never put aside. Until now…
“Girl’s Days” with Kim Bellavance Photography
Girl’s Days are the hottest photographic events for Kim Bellavance and her clients. I am proud to be the makeup and hair artist working behind the scenes of these photo shoots, helping to create the sex appeal we desire.
I was lucky enough to get a last minute call from Brian Howell, a freelance photographer for Mcclean’s Magazine, requesting my services for a photo shoot that would be featured in the September edition. Who was the subject? Douglas Coupland!

Ness & Geoff’s Wedding
When meeting with Ness, I knew I couldn’t be spending time with a more humble bride. She expressed to me that she was not a lady who would normally wear a lot of makeup, and wished to keep it hat way for her wedding day. She simply wanted to look like herself.
If you are a blog reader of mine, you will know that I have worked with Todd Duncan before. Todd is a fantastic photographer based in Vancouver, BC, Canada. It is always fantastic to receive a call from him requesting my makeup and hair services for his clients.
I began contact with Calgarian photographer, Chelsea Hailes, when noticing her casting call on a site I have been joined up to for over a year now. That site is modelmayhem. A site regularly mentioned in my blog. A site that is quite honestly and truely, a big part of the creation and achievement of producing my fantastically distinct and eye catching portfolio, which has led me to great success as a makeup and hair artist.
My favourite time to style hair is when I am not doing makeup. Being able to put your full focus and concentration into one or the other is always less stressful and acheives the best results, in my opinion anyway!
