Kim-Kardashian-Contouring

By now we’ve all seen this picture of Kim Kardashian using a cream contour to maintain her classic “Kim K” look… but let’s be honest – who has that much time to do their makeup!?
So many brands have recently come out with quick and easy contour kits, and we thought we should share them with you below.. (to save you both time, and money!)

The above contour kit is a quick and easy powder contour, perfect for anybody starting out with contouring, or even the professional wanting to add a little extra on top of their cream contours. It has a highlight color to accentuate those cheekbones, and two darker colors to achieve that perfect looking contour – and bonus – it comes with a brush!

Kat Von D “Shade + Light” Contour Palette – (Available at Sephora for $55 CAD)

Another excellent product by Kat Von D! This lady sure knows her stuff! This is a gorgeous palette perfect for any skin tone for achieving the perfect highlight and contour look.

“Unlike traditional bronzing powders, the Shade + Light Contour Palette is loaded with a unique selection of matte shades that capture the true hues of shadow and light. The three contour shades create realistic shadows to recede facial features, while the three highlight shades impart a soft luminosity to amplify dimension. A true artist’s palette specially designed to be used with the Shade + Light Contour Brush, these silky, buildable powders blend effortlessly into the skin for a flawless, fade-proof finish that flatters every skin tone or face shape. “Sephora Website

Not only is she the brow queen – but now she has come out with a pretty darn good contour kit! There is another kit which is aimed at more dark skin tones, but either way, with the right tools these powders apply flawlessly.

This contouring collectible contains six blendable formulas to sculpt and define features. Darker shades are ideal for shading and defining, while lighter shades sculpt and enhance features. Removable and refillable, the set contains all the color needed to start expertly emphasizing eyes, cheekbones, nose, and jawline. . ” – Sephora

We are still playing with more and more contour kits but at the moment these are our top three. Stay tuned for more product updates!
