Safia Mohamed’s Graduation
Safia found out about me through a previous client of mine, Rammy Jassal. I had first met Rammy when she contacted me through model mayhem regarding her up and coming photo shoot with Raymond Shum, for the creation of Miss BC 2010 Calender. The job was a volunteer position and the calender was to raise money for charity. We were to shoot for the most important month. December! Christmas time! New years! The end of the year. The grand finali!
Myself and Rammy had kept in touch and she had actually called me not long ago to swing by and do her hair and makeup for her birthday party! It was great to see her again and a pleasure to work with her. I couldnt ask for a more sweet and kind client. I am so thankful for her recommendations. After all, she is how I met Safia!
The booking was fairly last minute, so I didnt have much time to converse with Safia prior to her graduation. She took trust in Rammy’s recommendation. I arrived at her friends home on Friday June 4th ready to do her makeup for her special day.
Our criteria for the makeup design was something simple and neutral. Not necessarily to match with her dress as she planned an outfit change later in the evening. I chose to go with a flawless skin, beautiful shimmer with a pinky blush to compliment her dress. A little shape to the brows to frame the face. For her eyes, again, lots of shimmer and highlighting creating a princess look. A perfect glow for the summers day. I kept to greys and browns for the eye shadow making it darker at the lash line and under the eye. False lashes topped this look off! A subtle, pink, glittery lipgloss to keep it simple. Simply stunning seems to work well for graduations!
It was a pleasure to work with Safia and her mother even booked a surprise makeup application for her friend who is to be wedded in July. What a perfect gift! Professional makeup on your wedding day!
