Sirius Photography with Hazel Skye
I was excited to receive a phone call from Ed from Sirius Photography, informing me that the new studio was finally up and running. It was time to shoot again! Very kindly, Ed rescheduled the models to suit my work schedule for the day. I had planned to arrive early in the morning for round one, head off to my next job, and back to the studio right after for round two. Unfortunately the first model let us down but the second, Hazel Skye was still up for the fun!
The new studio is a big improvement from the last. Lots of space for me to work and lots of space for Ed to shoot. For this shoot, Ed let me do what ever I wanted. It is not often I get to do “what ever I want”! Usually it’s a smokey eye or the “natural” look on the agenda.
Our model, Hazel, has a young, fun, edgy look which inspired me to use colour. I kept the look flawless and beautiful but added some fun, bright green eye liner on top. I went wild with the hair using tons of got2be glued gel to create a faux hawk tunnel, twist…thing…with a curl around the front… I dont know what it was or where the idea came from, but it works!
