Yes – there are millions of primers out there (well maybe not millions…) but this one by Smashbox is a new must have!
There are a lot of people out there in the makeup world that dislike primers because of the “silicone-y” feel.. and we can’t blame them. There are countless primers by pretty much every brand out there.. and this new product is one of our go-to’s.

What does this primer do? Well..it’s a primer water in a spray form..it add’s the perfect base before any foundation, adds hydration, and is filled with tons of electrolytes to energize and moisturize your skin. (Smashbox claim it’s like an energy drink for your skin.)

Smashbox claims..
“Back in 2000, Smashbox founder and photographer Davis Factor developed our iconic Photo Finish Foundation Primer to help makeup look better and last longer on shoots. Fast forward 15 years and a new icon is born: Photo Finish Primer Water. It’s everything you love about the original primer in our lightest, purest, most refreshing form imaginable. From the silky-smooth texture of the original, to the super-fine mist of this new water, now there’s a primer for everyone.”

Guys – from a makeup junkies perspective, this product is gold! It’s silicone free, oil free AND alcohol free.  Instead of using a regular primer, you can quickly spritz this on before foundation to make sure it doesn’t move, use it as a refresher throughout the day (you can even pop it in your fridge for that wonderful cooling effect..) AND a setting spray. It’s hard to believe a product with all these different uses will hold your makeup, but it does! I am constantly spraying this on my face before makeup, throughout the day and as a setting spray. My foundation doesn’t break up or move on my face, and I can guarentee I will never stop buying this product! (By the way it is sold at Sephora for $48 😉 )
